Sheikh calls for his millions back

An Arab sheik has U.S. pop star Michael Jackson, 50, before a London court for breach of contract for seven million U.S. dollars (5.5 million euros) sued. The son of the king of Bahrain, Abdullah bin Hamad al-Khalifa, accused the American superstar, "advances" does not have to be settled. Advocates of the son of the king of Bahrain said that Jackson had the money as an advance for an autobiography and a joint album with Al Khalifa received the contracts, the former pop star but not respected. Jackson says that the money had been a gift.
Neither Jackson nor Al Khalifa were present at his trial opened. Jackson's lawyers said they tried to order a permit for Jackson, via video link from the U.S. in the process to be able to testify. Al Chalifas lawyer Bankim Thanki said the sheik was the first time with the pop star during his trial for child abuse spoken in California in 2003 and began 2005 with an acquittal ended. Al Khalifa did want to help, Jackson's career to restart and millions paid for Jackson's court costs. He had come to Bahrain Jackson and his family along with support and guidance. They also had 350,000 U.S. dollars for a vacation in Europe for Jackson and his friends heard. "Among the costs were incurred even to come to Jackson's hairdresser," said Thanki.
